Shoes

I use to love fancy dancy shoes...I would go Lady GaGa over shoes and because I worked in banking and had to dress a bit conservative I would always pump up the volume on my shoes.  But...alas my feet will no longer take those cute little heels...so....I went from....

this...

  to this...
to this...yes I have several pairs of these crocs...

but this is what I really want to be wear...all day, every day....

So...do you have a favorite kind of shoe?  or are you one of those like minded people that proclaims...BRING ON THE SHOES...as long as they're cute...

hope your toes stay nice and toasty...
looks like snow in our future...
so until next time...
Be Kind...

  1. I couldn't resist this post! I am into the comfy shoe stage of my life, too, but in my closet is the sweetest little pair of red sling-back pumps that I used to really enjoy wearing. I like to get them out and remember the "good old days" when I worked fulltime and had to "dress the part". :-) I cleaned my closet just before New Year's and sorted things to go to the Salvation Army and there were those pumps. They were not going in the bag cause I keep them just so I can look at them. Buuuuttt...I thought I should try them on just to see if they still fit. Oh, they fit all right but when I tried to walk in them I nearly broke my ankle. Luckily, I fell over onto the bed and started laughing. :-) My pink fluffy slippers are keeping my toes toasty right now. :-)

  2. I'm a flip flop kind of gal. And you know living in Florida, we have quite a selection of flip flops to choose from :-)

  3. When I remember some of the high platform styles I loved and wore in the 70's, I wonder how I ever avoided spraining an ankle. Nowadays, I mostly go sock footed in my studio, but still love my high heeled boots with jeans when I venture into town (to buy fabric at KellyAnn's).

  4. My favorite shoes are socks. As soon as I enter the house, I kick the shoes off.
