Summertime

It's summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime summertime...

"they" say that Memorial Day marks the beginning of summertime...I normally say it's the heat, well this weekend we had both, so it's officially summertime on the ranch.  Growing up our summertime travel was going to visit family, my father was in the Marine Corps so there was no vacation to Disney Land, nope there was the 800 hour car ride to my grandparents in Michigan or the 200 hour car ride to Virginia to visit my Mom's family, either way we spent a great deal of time in the car and there weren't any magic castles waiting for us on the other end.  I bet if we had one of these

we would have made several stops along the way instead of driving straight through...we might have even stopped at this place...
and then the 800 hours in the car would have been worth it....

So if you're traveling this summer and need a diversion from "are we there yet" take along the latest edition of the Quilters' Travel Companion....it's like a Mastercard...don't leave home without it!

Have a wonderful start to your summertime, if you travel or stay home, plan alittle time in your sewing
room/studio...it'll keep your refreshed, recharged and by shutting the door you'll create your only little magic castle...
Happy Quilting

Love the shots of your ranch and what a neat idea to put your ad on your blog. It would have helped me in April.... It will be a must on my next trip back to the East Coast. Happy Summer Time To YOU!
