Could use a touch of summer...

Who couldn't use a touch of summer???
Cone flowers have to be one of my favorite summer flowers.  The way they grow up towards the sun and  let their petals mop down to give full sun to their beautiful hearts.   Pat has really captured the cone flowers charm with her Chelsea's Summer Garden...
who wouldn't want to hanging in their home all season long to keep summer ever in our mind?

If you've not used one of Bigfork Bay Cotton Company's their instructions really rock, instead of telling you that you need an assortment of colors they tell you exactly how big a piece of what color number you need and great big applique patterns to trace.

Today is day three of the giveaway and just like the two previous patterns from Pat, this pattern is also signed by Pat, so you know the routine by now, leave me a comment to enter to win....

and now for yesterday's winner...

I agree! Come on Spring! I am tired of coats and hats and gloves and scarves. I have loved Pat's designs for many years, and Amelia's Spring Delight is just the design to bring some Spring into my kitchen.

Congratulations Myra, please email me your address so that you can get this touch of spring in your home...

Until next time

When I took a picture of it to a garden center, they said that it was mutant. I just wondered if your green ones were by chance? Thanks for a chance to win!
