Wordless Thursday NOT

What??? you thought you could keep me quite for another full day...not gonna happen...

So are you a list maker??  You know make a list, check things off as you get them done or are you a list maker that makes a list and then looses that list and needs to make another list and written at the top, DON'T LOOSE THIS LIST.  I've tried to be a list maker, I've bought some of the cutest little note pads
like this one...I've used ugly legal pads big and small, I even have a great "app" that works on my phone, I just need to type it in the computer and it shows up on my phone, how cool is that...but still I make the list and then forget about the list and go on with my day and at the end of the day wonder...wasn't there stuff I wanted to get done today.  How much pleasure there is in marking something off your list, a friend does a list and the first thing on the list is "make a list" she does this just so she'll have at least one thing marked off...she's one smart cookie.  I have a ton of stuff to do today, I'll work for most of the morning then head out and run some errands, maybe come home early and work a few round robin blocks, then do another load of laundry, vacuum and make dinner...this is the stuff I need to put on my list...

now where did I put that cute little notepad???

see y'all around the monkey farm...

  1. I am a terrible list maker...if I do manage to make one..I lose it...;-)

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog! Yes I do admit I did shed a few tears...I miss my son very much and I am glad we are close in spite of the distance between us.

I do make lists. If I don't write it down it may not get down. I spend a lot of time blogging! But I get my work done too, if I have a list!

    Have a great day!

  3. I just love lists and pretty notebooks! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. Peep is snuggled up (next to) her bed, having some sleep.

Have a beautiful weekend...checking things off of your list!

    : )

A Personal Post

Please indulge me as I write this very personal post....

When an obituary doesn't tell the whole story:

On Christmas day I received a phone call from my nephew that my brother had passed away in his sleep. His death was sudden and with no warning. Time stood still and I didn't know if I could catch my breath from the shock.

You see, Jimmy had always been a part of my life, at 57 I didn't know a life without having this older brother that I looked up to. We had lost our other brother, Karl, in 1984 in a car accident. When there were three, we were down to I am just one.

I found this picture of the three of us...1963/64...the cat, Waldo, is being held by Karl and if you'll notice Jimmy is in a cast..I'm sure there is a story behind that and my mother will be able to fill that in.

Let me tell you about Jimmy that his obituary didn't.

First of all..he was he got older I'm sure he tried to go by Jim, but that was always dad, he was Jimmy. As…
