Snow

Good Morning from snowy Virginia...this post is loaded with pictures....I hope you enjoy!

Can you see that the snow is up to Stella's chest...she loves it!
Driveway the morning after...

Can ya see the gate...no...that's because of all the stinkin' snow...
our backyard, if we were crazy enough we could go sledding down this hill but would end up in the woods...and that would not be fun...
another backyard shot...

ice hanging off the back of the house..pretty but dangerous...
my bushes under the feeders are almost under snow...

the other side of the front yard..

the side yard...

off the front porch...

here's Andrew on day 1 of the storm cleaning the driveway...he's my hero..

do ya think Stella loves the snow...
So that's what a snowy day in Virginia looks like and I think I can speak for everyone in this area...enough already...most of the area got 20+ inches of snow and while we do have some snow plows out and about we don't have enough to get all the back roads and for those of us that live in the country we live on those same back roads. I'll make sure and post and update on when we can actually drive again..we might be in the house till spring...

so...
stay inside...
stay warm...

  2. I'm with Stella, snow was made for romping and playing games! So pretty there. We have a gentle snow and our fair share of the pretty white stuff here, too. Enjoy!

  4. I am SOOOO jealous! I have never seen that much snow! I was born and raised in Alabama and all we usually got were ice storms!

I want to see one big snow like yours at least once in my lifetime! Butch said they had a 20 incher here in 2000. So it can happen!

  6. That's a very artful photo of Stella up to her neck in snow. She's a beautiful doggie and doesn't seem to mind the snow at all. Stay warm.
