Vacation is Over

I'm sad...so, so sad...our vacation came to an end today...the drive back was long. I was going to take alot of pictures while we were gone but it's so hard to hold a book, cold drink and camera at the same time, something had to give and it was the camera. But I did manage a few shots of Andrew and our dear friends Colleen & Larry...sorry none of me or the girls...
Keeping watch on the beach...

Larry my BFF's DH....
Yes, that would be Andrew, enjoying a Fat Tire Ale that my parents sent him...he's a happy camper.
My BFF Colleen...she had a birthday on Friday and this was the picture I posted of her, she'll be so happy to see it show up again...sorry sis!

We had a great time, we rented the house through VRBO.com and it was a great experience. The house had everything you'd need...a complete kitchen, you provide the food, comfortable furniture to take those much needed vacation naps. A screened in porch, a must down there, like I said the skeeters were something else. This house also provided beach chairs, buggy boards...everything you could need for the beach.

We ate in most of the time but on the last night we went out to dinner, justBaked, all I can say is if you are ever in Surf City NC and looking for a great place for dinner look no further. Not only is the food out of this world but the service is perfect. We picked up a few pastries for the ride home and were not disappointed. Like I said if you ever make it down that way....run, don't walk to justBaked!

Back to work on Tuesday, lots to do before then, maybe even some sewing. BTW...while I was gone I arranged to have some fabric shipped into the store almost daily to give Jackie something to do...just kidding...actually it did happen that Jackie did get fabric in daily and some of it is...ready for this...so stinkin' cute! She put out some new vintage patriotic from Marcus..brights from Studio E...and you know some I can't even remember. I'll get some pictures and post what Barbara's been up too...again some stinkin' cute pillows using kits we picked up at market.

see y'all around and remember Quilt with a Smile...it's more fun that way!
