  1. Christmas??? We haven't even gotten much warm weather yet here in upstate New York! I am starting to formulate ideas for christmas quilts this year, however, mostly wall hangings and table runners, things I can practice my newly acquired machine quilting skills on. Happy sewing!

  2. Last year I planned to make my boys quilts for Christmas, but time got away from me :-( So I have the fabric and pattern picked out, and the hope is to get three quilts done in time for their Christmas gifts :-)

  4. I think this is a great time to start thinking about Christmas, especially for those that like to sew. I've been primarily in the planning stage, with a few Christmas items that have fabric cut and are ready to sew.

  8. I am already starting to stress! I need to find easy, finished in a day, craft projects to post on my blog as gift ideas...I saw an adorable BOM Christmas quilt that I'm going to order (needless to say I'm six months behind)....oh, and I'm having another baby three weeks before Christmas. AAHHH! But thanks for the giveaway and I love your blog!

  9. I haven't started the Christmas sewing yet, but I do have ideas floating around. I plan on making stick horses from a tute I saw online for all the grands who can walk...that'll be 5. They are made out of fleece, so need to find some of that. It won't take long once I get going.

  10. I'm still in the planning stages, though I'm getting close to ready to start a tree skirt for a family member. It's using the Michael Miller Flower Fairy and Fairy Frost fabrics. I need to come up with a few more gifts to make this summer before life gets busy in the fall!

  12. I want that fabric!!!!! On a scale of 1-10 for holiday preparedness I am a -3....it is that bad. Oh no...wait, I did buy a really cool old holiday tablecloth to turn into some fab aprons. So maybe that puts me at a 2.

  13. My only holiday sewing so far is Geese in the Forrest BOM. We are on month five, so it is rolling along. If I won your fabric squares, I would make a quilt for my daughter.

  14. Christmas? Heck, I've barely given it a thought! And seriously, since I OUGHT to come up with some idea for a Christmas-themed quilt class, I guess I should start thinking soon! Maybe as the new Christmas fabrics start coming into the shops, I'll get some kind of inspiration--let's hope so!

  16. I don't normally make Christmas presents...it just adds too much stress to an already stressful season. I try to make something special for birthdays instead.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  17. I am not too far on Christmas, but definitely getting ideas! As you know I have already purchased one of the Big Fork Bay Cotton Company's kit's (the cat) and I am still eyeing the pug for a fellow pug lover in my life. They will make great gifts, don't you think? Thanks for the chance to win!
